Founder and COO

Aaron began his teaching career at a small school in central Texas, where he developed a deep passion for education. He later moved to Colorado to teach at a charter school in Denver, where his dedication to fostering Self-Determination in students truly flourished. Recognizing gaps within the Special Education program, Aaron became committed to empowering students to see themselves as capable, independent learners. He worked to instill a sense of autonomy, competence, and belonging, helping students recognize their unique brilliance and value in every classroom. Today, Aaron is devoted to supporting both educators and students in their journey toward growth and self-determination, inspiring others to unlock their full potential.

Founder and CEO

Jenny began her career as a special education teacher in southwestern Virginia in 2009 and has been dedicated to the field of education ever since. Her early experiences implementing a student-centered IEP process highlighted the critical need for a deeper understanding of self-determination. In May 2020, she earned her doctorate in Special Education from the University of California, Berkeley. Jenny specializes in fostering self-determination for students from marginalized communities who face educational barriers due to disabilities. As a data-driven educator, she is deeply committed to advancing equity in education through inclusive practices and Universal Design for Learning, ensuring all students have the opportunity to thrive.
